Profile

The IT Professional for Contract Section Applications is responsible for the development and delivery of GRiDS applications to our user base. Responsible for analysis, design, architecture and development as well as implementation of enhancements and fixes for globally used applications specifically focused on the management of risks in excess of $120B with $32B in premium invoiced annually. The candidate should possess the ability to participate in the design and development of high quality solutions using a SOA approach to support complex interactions and back-office business workflows. Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid work arrangement (mix of remote & in-office) from the Minneapolis, MN metro area. As the IT Professional for Client Services Applications some of your key responsibilities will involve:        Have good understanding of SDLC deliverables and manage those deliverables on a regular basis to ensure completion.        Actively participate in architectural design meetings for new applications as well as new features in existing applications.        Review and understand user stories in order to translate them into technical tasks and story point them.        Support issue resolution for all environments as deployment progresses thru the higher environments. Qualifications        Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent professional experience        5 years of C# application development and implementation experience        5 years of experience in web application development        Extensive experience with REST web services        Experience working with Kubernetes containers or other cloud containers (AKS preferable)        Exposure to Platform as a Service (Paas)        Prior experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
