Profile

Position Summary
Responsible for addressing the development needs of internal applications through completion of business analysis, programming, testing and training. Evaluates systems specifications for complex business requirements, developing and preparing systems solutions. Determines how client requests can be satisfied utilizing existing or new systems. Provides support for systems both during business hours and off.
Major Responsibilities
Develops/supports applications in Microsoft Development Studio.
Performs complex analysis and program design.
Designs and develops fully functional applications that meet business specifications.
Completes coding for modifications to existing systems, when needed.
Develops system test criteria and participates in systems testing.
Responds to, isolates and resolves programming problems.
Documents modules and program code as per standards including entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams and program specifications.
Provides after hours support for production systems.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Server Side Technologies: MS.NET , (specifically c#.Net and VB), Java/J2EE/JSP, Active Server Pages, REST, Web Services
Database Technologies: SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, MySQL,
Web Technologies: HTML(5), XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, ObjectiveC
Data Transformation Technologies: XML/XSL, JSON
Web Servers: Apache, IIS, nginx
Utility Languages: FTP, SSH, Powershell, Perl
CMS/Publishing Platforms: Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla
Experience Needed
3 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Educational Background Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required
