We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the team tasked with improving experience of Merchants signing-up.
Responsibilities:
Develop actionable initiatives to grow the business and its profitability
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, User Experience Research, Policy and senior executives to support and execute those initiatives
Build business cases and models to quantify opportunities, using data and solid business judgment
Perform deep-dives to identify problems, opportunities and specific actions required
Strategic thinking and detail orientation: ability to see the forest, and also diagnose a tree*s health
Comfort with ambiguity and frequent context-switching in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. I.e., whether in PowerPoint or an elevator pitch, you need to translate complex concepts into layman*s terms and influence both peers and senior leadership
Extensive Excel skills. Experience building financial models and scenario planning is a strong plus
Experience with SQL, a major software engineering language, or any major statistical package (ie, SAS, R) is required.
Desired skills:
Experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm (BCG, Bain, McKinsey) is a strong plus
Experience working in payments industry is a strong plus
Experience with large datasets (Hadoop) is a plus
Experience with web metrics and customer lifecycle funnel (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Resurrection) is a plus
Basic Qualifications:
MBA or technical/quantitative master*s degree from a top-tier institution is required. (Or equivalent work experience)
