Description

The Senior Cloud Architect leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing. The Senior Cloud Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Align IT architecture technology strategy and frameworks to enable the company's business strategy and goals, by providing guidance and building consensus among and across stakeholders.

Translate strategies into target architectures and roadmaps; articulate and evangelize design/architectural roadmaps across the organization.

Define current enterprise architecture, and identify issues or disruptive technologies within it.

Refine and/or redesign, and develop reference architecture to meet the organization's changing business requirements.

Define and manage a review process to evaluate project proposals for architectural fit, ensuring the consistency and compliancy of architecture deliverables across the enterprise.

Be involved in the development of policies, standards, and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of cloud technology within the enterprise.

Participate in architecture definition for Cloud Initiatives utilizing industry best practices and technologies.

Facilitate/lead/participate in identification of Design/Solution options to meet enterprise and technical, security, and performance requirements.

Provide hands-on designs, prototypes, and implementations incorporating architecture & software engineering best practices.

Learn and analyze current industry technology trends, best practices and patterns for Cloud Development.

Evaluate tools, technologies and POCs related to Salesforce technologies/solutions.

Role Essentials

Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of technical experience

Progressive experience as a senior developer in large IT projects including support

Prior project architect and/or team lead experience

Comprehensive knowledge of Cloud CRM solutions and integrations

Development experience using Eclipse, Apex, VisualForce, Workflows, Triggers, XML, HTML, SOQL, and SQL

Understanding of System Integration Testing, Load Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Test Class Coverage, Testing, Platform SLAs, and Salesforce.com Cloud Integration

Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, OO principles and design patterns, including adhering to OWASP security standards

Knowledge of relational databases, legacy systems integration, and design patterns

Practical experience with web-based technologies and web services including Rest, SOAP, JavaScript and XSLT

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD)

Role Desirables

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Database experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, or DB2

Development experience using CSS and XSLT

Experience with SOAP/WSDL and REST APIs

Experience with Azure ADO

Experience with Copado integrations

Experience with Javascript

Experience with Salesforce Lightning Process Builder, Lightning Web Components, Heroku

Salesforce.com Certification(s) - Salesforce.com Certified Administrator, Salesforce.com Certified Developer, Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce.com Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce.com Certified Service Cloud Consultant

Working knowledge of Salesforce.com Service Cloud, .Net and mainframe development

Prior experience in the healthcare industry
