ADP is hiring a BI Developer. In this position you will be responsible for developing BI applications and solutions for ADP's external and internal clients. Business Intelligence Developers may be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Business Intelligence Developers' work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects and engineers to plan, design, develop, test and implement business intelligence solutions consistent with the business objective.
Business Intelligence Developers may develop and review requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test, configure and deploy software. Business Intelligence Developers may also design and develop analytical data models to support static and ad-hoc reports, analytics and research, dashboards, data mining, trending, creation of key performance indicators, predictive modeling, etc. Business Intelligence Developers may also design and develop extractors, transformations and loaders using ETL tools. Business Intelligence Developers also participate and collaborate with other stakeholders including security, quality assurance, training, project management, engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate effectively in relevant aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) including planning, construction, testing, reviews and demonstrations.
Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables.
Investigate and resolve application issues as needed
Package, configure and deploying software
Collaborate with clients, Product Managers, Architects, & Analysts to develop and review requirements & design.
Review and create system, software and functional design specifications that address requirements.
Write scripts/procedures/statements using DML and DDL (SQL statements) against databases such as Oracle, SQLServer, DB2, etc.
Design and develop multi-dimensional data models using star and snowflake schemas, denormalized data structures, slowly changing dimensions, etc.
Use data integration tools and techniques such as ETL (Extract Transform Load), CDC (Change Data Capture), etc.
Design and develop analytical data models to support static and ad-hoc reports, analytics and research, dashboards, data mining, trending, creation of key performance indicators, predictive modeling, etc.
Deliver BI content via portals, thin/thick clients, email, mobile, etc
Participate in project planning and release management.
Expected to work on multiple projects at a time.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
3-5 years of directly related experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with data engineering including ETL and data warehousing
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with building semantic-layer business intelligence solutions including metrics, dashboards and data visualizations
Expert problem solving skills to rapidly create ad-hoc queries to answer complex business questions or debug data issues
Experience developing complex queries against normalized and dimensional data model
Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team, as well as independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working experience with Tableau and Alteryx
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience with a major area of concentration in Computer Science, Engineering or Math
Working experience with AWS, Databricks, Snowflake
Working experience with Python
Working experience with Cognos
Working experience in the HCM software or financial industry
